Hamlet asked that question a long time ago, and God has answered.  Go figure!  🙂

I have shared a blog by Bryant McGill which a friend shared on Facebook after my opening thoughts. Bryant’s teaching has some good points, but also a few which I felt need the Light of Grace shed on them, which is why I placed his at the bottom of my “snippet” to be compared with the Truth of God’s Word.

NOTE: If you would like Bryant’s blog and contact info, you may find it on our ministry site along with the shared blog by him.
We should always look to His Word in order to rightly divide so we know what to keep and what to spit out, for “When we KNOW the TRUTH, IT SHALL MAKE US FREE!”   John 8:32

One of the main points Mark and I try to get folks to receive a revelation about concerning The Gospel of Grace is this:  Grace is about our IDENTITY!

“If we are still striving to be free from past wrong behavior, and think that we will only be free from it’s power when we die, then death is our savior, not Jesus!”  (Georgian Banov)

The attached blog at the bottoms has some good points………EXCEPT that our BEING IS IN GOD!

Acts 17:28 “For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.”

When we come to recognize the power of our conversion and our new identity because of His DNA being planted permanently within us (1 John 3:9) we will be FREE TO BE in the FREEDOM for which Christ has set us FREE. (Galatians 5:1)

“Without our identity, which is found in GRACE, we are nothing more than a fugitive living under the alias of a free man.”
(Shelbye Junell Kunerth Gingerich*)

Grace isn’t just the gospel OF Jesus Christ – It IS Jesus Christ!
He is “Grace & Truth….and both came through Jesus Christ” – John 1:17
He is the way the TRUTH and the life…John 14:6 –

So many people are searching and seeking trying to BE something He died to MAKE us FREELY through His Finished work at the Cross!
(II Cor, 5:17-21)

Nail scarred hands are reaching out to you today to help you BE ALL THAT HE DESTINED YOU TO BE IN HIM -THROUGH HIM – BY HIM so that others will also know the “abundance of His Grace and the Gift of His Righteousness!” (Romans 5:17)

If we continue to see ourselves as sinners rather than the righteousness of God –
(II Corinthians 5:21)
– we will continue to live out of our perceived identity, making the list of the things in this blog unattainable.

In glorious contrast, when we see ourselves as He sees us through Christ’s completed work on our behalf, and BELIEVE HIM…….BEING is easy as we REST in HIM! ❤   (Hebrews 4:11)

Afterthought from Holy Spirit!:
It’s why we don’t judge a book by it’s cover!
Look deeper to the treasure within!<3

Let us go on to maturity………
Growing up in the Grace & the Knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Hebrews 6:1-3  “So we should be finished with the beginning lessons about Christ. We should not have to keep going back to where we started. We began our new life by turning away from the evil we did in the past and by believing in God. That’s when we were taught about baptisms, laying hands on people, the resurrection of those who have died, and the final judgment. Now we need to go forward to more mature teaching. And that’s what we will do if God allows.”

Much Peace to you from the Unforced Rhythms of His Grace!

Jeanie ❤

Stop blaming and start being! by Bryant McGill

Stop blaming and start being! We attract what we are. We attract who we are. If you don’t like something in your life, look only at who you are. Who you are is why you choose the friends and situations in your life. Who you are is why you choose poorly, or fail to choose wisely. Stop being a victim! If you do not like a certain behavior in others, look within yourself to find the roots of what discomforts you. The conflicts we have with the outside world are often conflicts we have within ourselves.

When you blame others you are effectively proclaiming that you are only response to stimuli. But you are more than response to stimuli. When you blame others, you are affirming that you have no power, and your existence is only a reaction to the power of others. But, you are powerful, if you choose to be. You can choose to be pro-active, assertive and self-defining. You can choose better relationships, better jobs, better places to live, better uses of your time and better ways of treating yourself. Go look in the mirror and have a talk with your real boss. Find a new and better leader within yourself, for yourself. Lead your life with love and friendship; self-love as your own friend. Lead with honesty, total integrity, compassion, patience and tolerance — toward yourself! If you live with values for yourself, then you become of great value to all who know you. It starts with you. Quit waiting for others to give to you; it is not going to happen.

You see, reconciliation with others and the world begins within. If you don’t get right with yourself, then nothing in this life will ever make you happy. Blame is very tricky in that it seems like a way out when it is really a form of imprisonment. Until you stop blaming and become positively self-critical you are not going to move forward. You think that if you blame, you will then be free of those problems, but blame cements you to your problems. You have to take responsibility. Empowerment is never about blame; it is about taking personal responsibility. Taking personal responsibility is not about being “responsible” — it is about seeing your truth and evolving. People who blame are always looking to “get out” of something, but like quicksand, the more they struggle the more they are captive. Blame anchors us into the past; a place we cannot change. Acceptance frees us to the future. Even when something is not your fault, toxic blame has no place in your life. Focus on your own empowerment and healing. If you set a clear standard for yourself; for how you wish to be treated — people take note. Rather than communicating blame communicate your standards for proper future treatment.

Ultimately, everything is completely up to you. Quit looking for the answers outside of yourself. The invitation to something better is not arriving from any source outside of yourself — ever. Those who get the invitation are the ones who realize, that the invitation, only comes from deep within. Give yourself permission to be free from the past. You are the authority and the gatekeeper of your own life. Once you become something, only then, are you worthy of it. The life you want is a manifestation of self-realization. It is easy; just be to have. Begin accepting the gift now, and have every beautiful and good thing in life — and then share.

Stop blaming and start being. Everything comes by being! Be the love you seek. Be the friend you seek. Be the lover you seek. Be the honesty you seek. Be the integrity you seek. Be the patience you seek. Be the tolerance you seek. Be the compassion you seek.

Fill-in the blank: Be the ___________ you seek.

—Bryant McGill
